The special-shaped electro-permanent magnetic lifter is a special-purpose electro-permanent magnetic chuck. It adopts a large square magnetic pole and a large working gap design, suitable for single-unit handling of thick and heavy steel plates or large forgings. It is widely used in industries such as steel, shipbuilding, automobiles, and machinery that require frequent handling of steel materials, such as the handling and loading and unloading of heavy rails, light rails, I-beams, angle steel, channel steel, H-beams, and round steel.
Advantages of using electro-permanent magnetic lifters for handling various special-shaped materials are as follows:
Electro-permanent magnets have stronger magnetic force (suction power up to 16kg/cm²), which can firmly lock the profiles, and the lifting safety factor is more than 3 times higher.
Electro-permanent magnetic lifters are highly efficient and energy-saving: The extremely fast response of 0.2 seconds for energization and demagnetization shortens the material suction and unloading time, improving work efficiency. Only energization and demagnetization consume electricity, saving 95% of energy compared to lifting electromagnets, thus reducing costs. Double safety: 1. The electro-permanent magnet does not lose magnetism when the power is off, preventing the risk of profiles falling due to power failure; 2. The electro-permanent magnetic lifter is equipped with a weight sensor module. After the profile is lifted, the demagnetization operation is invalid, further ensuring safety.
No maintenance costs, longer service life: The electro-permanent magnetic lifter itself is composed of magnetic steel and has no internal mechanical components, requiring no maintenance, and can theoretically be used for 30 years.
