A novel magnetic clamping system for mold changing uses electric pulses to switch the magnetic force on and off. It utilizes the characteristics of different permanent magnetic materials to design an optimal magnetic circuit with multiple magnetic sources. An electric control system controls the distribution of magnetic lines inside and converts the magnetic field, allowing the superimposed magnetic field to reach equilibrium within the system. The mold is then held in place using magnetic force.
